Redding Reloading Equipment says it is offering handloaders a new benchmark in precision handloading with the introduction of its Z Series reloading dies. The Z Series utilizes larger, stronger and more robust 1-inch die bodies. Redding’s engineering has proven that modern high-performance cartridge designs are severely taxing the capabilities of traditional 7/8-inch reloading dies. The 7/8-inch diameter became industry standard following World War II. However, today’s new cartridge designs provide numerous reasons to question that standard. In short, it’s all about the strength of material, the stresses induced and the deformation that occurs in the die itself. The Z Series, Redding says, is two times stronger than traditional dies, and handloaders will see, feel and measure this difference. Increased strength and rigidity provide significantly reduced sizing effort and more consistent and measurable sized case dimensions. The initial Z Series offering will include single dies, die sets and bushing dies in (31) popular cartridges from .284 Winchester to .375 (9.5x77). The new dies are readily adaptable to most reloading presses marketed with a simple die bushing change. The1-inch full-length dies have a MSRP $195. Daiwa says its new Tatula SV TW 150 reel features hyperdrive design and SV technology to power your bass fishing while extending casting control and distance. The new Tatula SV TW 150, big brother of the new TATULA SV100, is geared for the power-fishing crowd, introducing them to SV spool technology and hyperdrive in a mid-priced baitcaster. The upsized reel casts and controls bigger baits like swimbaits, deep crankbaits, bladebaits, and smaller A-rigs. Bass anglers who spool 50- and 60-pound braid will notice the improved casting distance compared to their current reels, Daiwa says. The spool is sized to accommodate more and heavier line. SV technology virtually eliminates backlash, with spool speed managed at the onset of a cast – where backlash is most common – and then allows the spool to accelerate as the bait continues to launch. MSRP is $219.99. Visit daiwa.us or call (562) 375-6800.

Umarex Airguns says its Komplete Nitrogen Cartridge Rifle is groundbreaking. The Komplete NCR is the world’s first airgun powered by a pre-filled high pressure nitrogen cartridge. The NitroAir cartridge system, filled with nitrogen, provide shooters with 1,025 fps with standard.177 caliber lead pellets, and 975 fps with the .22 caliber pellets. Nitrogen (N2) is a stable, moisture-free gas that offers a reliable shooting experience across all weather conditions and reduces maintenance needs. The Komplete NCR can cater to a wide range of shooting activities, from casual plinking to more serious small game hunting and target shooting. The Komplete shooting package includes the rifle, a NitroAir cartridge, a 4 x 32 scope with rings and two multi-shot rotary magazines. MSRP is $199.99. Visit NitroAir.com, or call (479) 646-4210.
