Optical Dynamics OD40 long-distance illuminator projects a true collimated beam of high-definition light designed specifically for object and target identification. The illuminated focused field of view is 27 feet at 50 yards and 108 feet at 200 yards, allowing positive target identification without lighting up the entire field. Optical Dynamics technology puts you in control of an adjustable, focused beam that is brighter, doesn’t fade or disperse, doesn’t leave dark spots and doesn’t reflect back—allowing your natural night vision to function at its very best. Unlike other lights, the patented photonics technology of the Collimated Amplified Lens System projects visibly harmonized light without the use of reflectors or diffusers. Instead, CALS combines multi-coated precision lenses of a quality never before seen in a light projection device for the outdoorsman to effectively capture 100 percent of the light generated by a highly efficient LED source that delivers 650 lumens to the lenses.
